So as some of my more regular readers and Instagram followers may already be aware of… this little fam have been on a bit of an emotional rollercoaster recently. Yes from the outside and fleeting glimpses it may seem like our life has been at an all time high; Our Wedding Day was spectacular, we recently went on our Honeymoon and I have been remaining a strong Mama by seeing friends, finding time for myself and hoping to inspire empowerment in the Motherhood community. However behind the scenes we have been dealing with demons and although I have briefly touched upon how this has made me feel, I have not opened up about the cause of these feelings. Well ladies and gents… today is that day.
Familiar with the crippling feeling of being down? Need easy ways to lift your mood? Through the crazy rollercoaster that is parenting and Motherhood we all become incredibly susceptible to low moods and cabin fever; I know I have at least one day per week where I don’t want to leave my pyjamas or house! There are some simple ways that can really save you when times get hard and you find yourself lacking energy and motivation and they happen to be pretty easy, quick fixes too!
Apart from the fortunate few, all Mamas fall victim to the ‘Mum-bod’ post pregnancy and the anxiety and depression that comes with it. With every ounce of extra weight that is gained, every extra inch that surrounds our once slim waistline and every stretch mark, comes a certain deflation that leaves us longing to be our former trim selves. I however have decided, after two years of attempting to exercise and diet, that our bodies never truly return to their pre-pregnancy beauty. So that is why I am rocking my post-baby body, and you should too!
