Do you have hoarded of Easter chocolate left over? Wondering what to bake with it? I don’t know if your kids are anything like mine and decide to open every singe chocolate egg and mini egg and jets about any foiled item available in a chocolate Easter frenzy?! The little man embarked on a de-foiling adventure around Easter and I was left with a whole bowl of random bits of chocolate that he had discarded along the way (also to attempt to get it out of his vision so that I could control his sugar intake!) As we had SOOOOO much chocolate I decided to get my bake on… Ive never been good at making brownies, they have always been either too dry or too runny and never have that luscious crispy top. But this time… miraculously… they worked!

I have been meaning to bake Biscotti for potentially around 6 months now loving a baking session, but after Christmas there are so many sweet treats left over there is no need!) My amazing Momma-migo (U think that should most definitely be a word… am I right?!) bakes them in batches and always has a tin of Biscotti at the ready for tea dunking. Her little man loves them and mine dives straight in whenever they are on offer, so I thought I’d give them a go. Now this Biscotti recipe is a twist on the Mary Berry one I have just added different ingredients to suit my personal taste; to be honest though they are so versatile you can chuck anything you want in there! I chose Chocolate and Walnut for the filing of my Biscotti and here is how the magic happened…
