No Easter holidays would be complete without the appearance of the Hot Cross Bun and this year I thought Id have a go at baking my own and share this simple recipe with you all! Wether you like yours warmed, toasted or just as they are; smothered with butter, jam or whichever spread your heart desires, these gorgeously spiced buns will no doubt cheer your soul and put a spring in your step at the right time of year.
However many times you have been pregnant I think there are alway going to be slight differences , but between your very first and your second those differences seem to be more apparent and much more major. From the differences in your own body and how it copes the second time round, to your lifestyle through a second pregnancy; there are some major things that come as quite a surprise when you initially think “Oh I’ve done this before I know what to expect”!
Now before I begin I have realised this may come across as a negative or warning post of some sort; but that was not my intention! I have just found that there are some major differences I had not considered… but in no way does it lessen the magic of having a second child!
Since having my little man I have had SUCH a sweet tooth and Im a sucker for puddings; crumble, I have found, is so so easy once you know how and makes a great after dinner treat and quick family recipe for when you haven’t got much time.
Mothers Day is on the horizon, so what do Mothers REALLY want? The answer: A break, a happy family day out wth no tears, a clear mind, a tidy house, an interrupted bath, a day to herself. I think what Mothers REALLY want this Mothers Day is not so much the flowers, the chocolate, the cards (however nice and thoughtful they can be)… it is simply a day just for her; I mean isn’t that the reason its called Mothers Day?
Here are some ideas, if your struggling to grasp the concept, of how this could be achieved; Mama Guilt free might I add! YOU DESERVE IT, so stop telling yourself for whatever reason you do not!
