So the Summer Holidays are in full shwing… (yes… spelling mistake intentional… if you are a Wayne’s World fan you’ll know what I’m talking about…) and as we live in England it is undoubtedly going to be full of days where the weather decides to strike out full force and leave us bound to the confines of our homes. Do not fear mama! There are some amazing products out there that can keep the kids entertained to save you from the inevitable cabin fever that is to ensue! I think a winner is always going to be apps that you can access for free on your iPad or Tablet, and Vodafone have your backs…
Now I know that the community of Mamas can be a bit divided when it comes to the use of iPads and Tablets with young children, but I would only ever let the little man use something that was safe and that kept him entertained whilst being educational also.
I also suggest not to use them for too long either! Think little and often for their sensitive little eyes!
Vodafone have a wonderful range of tablets for every taste and we were sent the brand new Vodafone Smart Tab N8 to sample for review; I was really impressed when it came looking all swish in its fancy packaging!
Its the small things in life huh!?!
It was really easy to navigate and we found the ‘Play Store’ instantly to have a browse trough the free apps that were on offer.
On the Smart Tab N8 we decided to go for some of the suggestions that Vodafone had made for Apps to use and we found the Cbeebies ones that small man adored… as you can see!
He had absolutely no problem navigating the Tab for himself and playing the games with very little assistance from me which can actually be an issue with my iPad.
We did find that the loading times were a bit of a wait at times but not long enough for it to upset little dude bless him… he could obviously sense that the wait was with it!
He was captivated!
It certainly did keep him ‘appy (… yup… I went there…)
