As busy ass bee Moms we need quick meals or face the reality of not eating at all! We all know the familiar meal time struggle when preparing the kids meals and leaving yourself very little time to actually make, let alone actually consume your own chow down worthy eats. There are lots of ‘snack’ foods available that could potentially fulfil this void, but there are none that feel quite like eating an actual meal like Mr Lee’s noodles and I am able to offer you the freedom to have a go yourself with an amazing GIVEAWAY for one lucky Rock and Roses Mama reader!
When I was offered to try these award winning noodles (Lunch! Innovation Awards 2016) I thought, well I do love a good snack pot and Ill have a look and see if I want to give them a go.
I was firstly really impressed by their website which you should definitely go and check out in all its colourful, yummy glory!
And the further I read about these noodles I realised that they are more of a meal rather than a snack really… they offer immense flavours and are super healthy and gluten-free which is a massive pro for our current health conscious times.
They pride themselves on using only the very best freeze dried fresh ingredients and Vietnamese rice noodle nests, with absolutely no nasties in their cups!
Every cup is low in sugar, low in saturated fat, low in sugar and low in calories!
The next thing that really took my interest was the flavours; there are six flavours available to indulge ones palette, Warrior Fighting Shrimp, Hong Kong Street Beef, Dragon Fire Mushroom, Shaolin Monk Vegetables, Tai Chi Chicken and Penang Chicken Curry Laska (This ones my favourite flavour actually… there is a mild spice which was really warming)
I have written before about the incredible value of a Mamas time so I have always been partial to a quick and easy yet knowingly ‘fast food’ and calorific snack pots…. Mr Lee’s, like other cup noodles, only take a few minutes after boiling water is added and to be honest are pretty perfect for when you have absolutely no time to make your own meal when trying to juggle EVERYTHING else apart from looking after your own eating needs!
I also think they are a great little pot to pop into your bag for the working Mom.
I am lucky enough to offer one of my readers a prize box of all of the flavours of Mr Lee’s Noodles, a set of chopsticks and a canvas bag in a Giveaway!
What quick fixes do you find yourself scoffing just to get some food down your gullet? Do you need to try and eat more healthily on the go?
