Available in an array of designs and colours, these bad boys will get you through everything from the school run, the monthly food ship, trips to the park through to adventures in the woods. They are super comfy and make any outfit look effortlessly cool; pair with literally any leg wear from jeans, leggings or skirts and dresses.
2. Leather Jacket
Now this is a must have Mom item in my opinion… I would opt for something in a lighter leather so that it is more breathable and you can move easily in it. Again, wear over any outfit to give it an instant cool edge that will make you feel as fabulously empowered as you should be! Grab some super supportive badges and pins available lots of great Mama brands like ‘We are Enough Co’, ‘One Strong Mother’ and ‘Haus of Mono’.
3. Denim Shirt
Now this one is perfect to wear open over any strappy top or tee if you, like me, are not a fan of your arms; or if the weather is too chilly for a came but too warm for a jacket!
Well… this is a no brainer! How super comfy are leggings? Perfect for running after little ones!
5. Mama Merch tees
These beauties are incredible for chucking over skinny jeans, leggings or tucking into a skirt for an empowering fashion statement whilst supporting some amazing charities. Selena from Winter and Rain for example donates 15% of the sales from her ‘Lioness not Princess’ tee to Women’s Aid. Amazing.
6. Black Skinny Jeans
These cover a manner of all sins and although I’ve been told they are not ‘in vogue’ this season… to hell with it! They make your legs look more streamlined and can be worn with any coloured cami or tee! Fold a cuff into the bottom of the legs for a more summery feel; or grab a pair that are ripped slightly.
7. Slouchy lightweight jumper
This look is perfect for those summer evenings when the sun goes down and the chill starts to creep in; crack out the slouchy jumper to pop over your bikini and shorts or cami. Extra points if it hangs off one shoulder!
8. Statement Coat
Ok so this is more of a Winter staple but entirely necessary for Spring or late Summer/Autumn too! I have opted for a leopard print coat from NEXT that is lucius and spruces up any seemingly dull outfit!
9. Ankle boots
Grab a pair that you know will look great with both tights or without and with skirts and dresses or trousers alike! Totally multifunctional item that you definitely NEED in your wardrobe! They make literally any outfit look that little bit more classy if you need to dress your outfit up slightly; go for a colour boot that you know you can wear with nearly every item in your wardrobe… capsule style!
10. Mid season dress
I love having a couple of these bad boys in my wardrobe as not only to they look fabulous with tights and boots in the winter, they can be stripped bare for the summer too! Totally worth it!
Ok so this one is more of an accessory and I doubt you would pop it in your wardrobe BUT… it is a Mom essential all the same! After the dreaded ‘changing bag’ us Moms need a practical bag that is yet gloriously fashionable of our own that save us having to lug said ‘changing bag’ literally everywhere!
